Frequently Asked Questions:
2. What features are included with each virtual tour?
- Each tour is created and custom designed for you and your needs. Our virtual tours include the following:
- A high-quality, fast-loading tour web page that will beautifully showcase your property
- State-of-the-art virtual tour technology that provides an eye-pleasing flat image, instead of the distorted "fish-eye" images used by other virtual tour providers. You won't get that "sea sick" feeling when viewing our tours.
- We host the tour on our servers, saving you valuable web space and web master fees
- A picture of the listing agent with complete contact info, E-mail link, a link to your web site, or any link that may generate more business for you and your listing
- Professional digital photography of the property, enhanced and optimized for the web
3. How do I order a Digital 360° Tour?
4. What happens after I place my order and how long before the tour is complete?
- We will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your billing method (you are not charged at the time you place the order), and set up an appointment time to shoot the property. Our goal is to shoot the property within 5-7 business days after you place your order and have it on the internet within 5 business days after shooting. The whole process usually takes about a week.
5. When should I place my order for a virtual tour?
- As soon as you get the listing! Your client will want to see the tour as soon as possible. The sooner we shoot the tour, the quicker we are able to provide you with digital photos for use on your web site or print material.
6. What is the price for a Digital 360° Tour?
- The basic tour rate for a residential real estate listing or vacation rental is $250.00. This is for a complete tour package including professional photography, creation of the tour web page, hosting the tour, and distribution of the final product. The package includes up to 4 moving panoramas and up to10 still photos of the property. Additional packages and options are available, please click here to view our complete price list.
7. How do I pay for the virtual tour?
- When you order the tour, either online or via fax, we do not charge you at that time. We will call to confirm your order and payment method. At that point, we can take your credit card information over the phone or we can E-mail you an invoice that can be paid online through our secure online payment site. We accept the following credit cards: Visa and MasterCard. You can also pay by mailing us a check or bringing a check with you to the photo shoot. If you decide to pay by check or cash, we will reserve the payment amount via credit card. Your card will not be charged as long as you make the payment. No tours will be made available to you without proper payment.
- For reoccurring customers, we can set up an account for you with our company. With an account, you can simply add the tours to your account and be billed monthly. Again, you are welcome to charge the monthly total to your credit card or pay by check. If tours have already been completed and your payment is delinquent beyond 30 days, we will replace the tour with a non-payment notice until payment is received.
8. How do I get my tour posted to my web site, my broker's web site or elsewhere?
- This is also a simple process that requires very little on your part or from your webmaster. Since we host the tours on our servers, the only thing you have to do is add a link (that we provide to you) to your site. That's it!
You can use your choice of a graphic link like: or a text link like: VIEW VIRTUAL TOUR!
- The link can be added to any site you wish... simply and easily! This link can even be added to your E-mail messages, making it possible for you to direct clients to your tour.
9. I'm limited on the amount of web space (or storage) on my web site. Will the virtual tour require much space?
- Not at all. As mentioned above, we host the tour web page on our servers. You only have to add the link (provided by us). This should not affect your storage space at all.
10. Does someone need to install any special software to see the virtual tour?
- No, our virtual tours use a small, fast-loading Java applet that doesn't require any type of special software plug-in to be downloaded or installed. The tour will run in any browser that supports Java (even older versions), on any platform (Windows or Mac), and can even be run from a CD. The problem with many OTHER virtual tours is they require a plug-in like Apple's QTVR to be downloaded and installed before you can see the tour. NOT with our tours!
11. Can I use the digital photos that you take on my own web site or print material?
- Absolutely! That is the whole idea, we provide you with professional photos of the property and create less work for you. The provided photos can be used any way you wish, including on your web site or any web site that you have the listing on (like Realtor.com). We can also provide you with higher resolution photos for use in print material like brochures, magazines or flyers. All of our photos are professionally enhanced to provide the very best image possible to represent your property.
12. Who needs to be present at the property when the photographer comes to shoot the tour?
- We will be glad to schedule the appointment with either the listing agent or the homeowner. We do ask that an adult over 18 years old be present. We reserve the right to re-schedule the virtual tour shoot due to the weather.
13. After I pay for the virtual tour, are there any reoccurring fees or contracts to sign?
- The virtual tour is good for the life of the listing or 12 months. If you have a vacation rental and would like the tour to be hosted longer than 12 months, it can be renewed each year for a discounted fee of $99.00.
14. Is there a cancellation fee once the tour has been ordered?
- You can cancel the tour within 24 hours prior to the photo shoot of the property without a penalty. However, if cancelling within the 24 hour period, or if the agent or homeowner fails to show up at the scheduled time, a $75, non-refundable fee will be accessed. This fee will be in addition to the regular tour amount even if the tour is shot at a later date.
